OVATION FOR POWERPOINT

When it comes to the creation and execution of presentations, Microsoft PowerPoint has remained a leader for years. To ensure PowerPoint stays competitive, Microsoft consistently looks for ways of improving the system or providing users with add-ons. One such option is a new program known as Ovation, which can be purchased for around $100. This valuable tool is excellent for presenters, providing magnificent templates, as well as a teleprompter and timers.

 

While you will enjoy this new add-on for PowerPoint, keep in mind that there is no support in place for embedded video and audio but other than that, the program appears solid. If you have need for powerful presentations, something that will wow the audience and sell a product, then you want a software program that gives you an edge, which is exactly what you get with Ovation.

 

With Ovation for PowerPoint, you will have the ability to enhance and improve the appearance of your presentations, as well as the delivery. Best of all, the application is easy to learn and operate, providing you with a choice of 100 new templates. Unlike standard PowerPoint, Ovation includes motion backgrounds, enhanced fonts, and text effects that you would not find with just PowerPoint.

Then, the teleprompter is another great feature, allowing you the ability to scroll down at the speed you choose while displaying the notes found in the note's field. In addition, the target duration can be set for the presentation, which means you would be able to track remaining time or if you prefer, set a target duration for individual slides, again helping to keep you on track throughout the entire presentation. This program will actually record the amount of time spent on slides, making the presentation more efficient and effective.

 

As you can see, Ovation can turn ordinary slide presentations into masterpieces. However, this program does have a few limitations to consider such as embedded video and audio files in the presentation not being playable. Keep in mind that Microsoft is aware of this limitation and is currently working hard for a solution. The only other flaw is that bullet points in a presentation do not always work properly with some animation schemes. Other than that, Ovation for PowerPoint has proven to be a great success.
