UNDERSTANDING COREL PAINTER IX.5 AND ESSENTIALS 3

Over the years, Corel has created many wonderful products to include Painter IX.5. As an upgrade to the original Painter, this program is an outstanding choice for people involved with digital painting. One of the highlights is the real-world painting media. However, the efficient interface, 11 hours of video training, and enhanced integration for other Corel products makes this a great choice. The only real drawback is that the built-in help system along with bundled video training have not been updated since the previous version.

The installation process of the program is easy, as is use of the program. Additionally, you will discover a nice balance of Arabic and Roman numerals. However, the level of digital painting is definitely a feature for the serious minded. Of all painting applications, Corel has cornered the market, again specifically to the simulating real-world media creation.

As far as another Corel application, Essentials 3, this too is a great choice for people involved with digital painting. With Essentials 3, you get a streamlined version of IX, making hand painting of digital photographs a much simpler process. In addition, this particular program provides you with samples of some of the best tools associated with Corel Painter to help with natural media simulation.

Best of all, Corel Painter Essentials 3 is an affordable program that does most of what a beginner or intermediate person would need it to do. Some of the positive features associated with this program include the ability to turn photographs into works of arts with a few simply steps, a helpful interface, and support for Wacom pen tablet line. The only negative aspect of Essentials 3 is that while the process for hand painting is simple, some beginners believe it needs to be streamlined even more.
